Potluck Productions was formed for the purpose of creating dynamic, entertaining and educational shows for broadcast. The company mission is to make it easier for people to access their informative, proprietary content anywhere, any place, any time, utilizing the latest technologies. Potluck Productions' goal is to foster and encourage a sense of community and connection, two of the human souls' greatest joys. With this in mind, the delivery formats for this content were selected to easily facilitate the sharing of information for both large scale and one-on-one interaction. Shelby Phillips Shelby Phillips has a friendly, easygoing demeanor that inspires people to connect with her on camera and off. Shelby is a successful commercial and infomercial actress who has warmly hosted several cable shows over the last decade, including a featured spot on the Style Network’s “The Big Party Plan Off.” Through the years, Shelby has become an award-winning event planner and executive director, owning a successful marketing, promotions, and event planning business primarily managing non-profit organizations. She has produced every kind of special event including charity golf tournaments, live theater productions, corporate dinner parties, strategic planning retreats and seminars, weddings, milestone birthday celebrations, community events and dozens of private themed parties. She is the co-author of a three-book series titled The Enlightened Party Planner: Guides to Creating Parties from the Heart. It is this firsthand knowledge of party planning, along with her natural appeal and ease in front of the camera that presents a strong allure for the viewing audience. Charlotte Marshall Charlotte Marshall is the owner of CharMarPR Productions, specializing in producing video shorts for websites. She was producer/director/writer of “Manhattan Life,” an award winning monthly cable show sponsored by the city of Manhattan Beach for 15 years and she currently produces the “Good to Know” web TV program. She has more than 38 years experience in public relations for consumer companies, including Rubbermaid Office Products, Apple Computer, Digitalk, and Victor Technologies. Charlotte has been on the staff of a metropolitan weekly newspaper and various fashion trade magazines, along with writing and producing books and informational videos. She holds a Masters of Science degree in Mass Communications and a Bachelors of Science degree in Journalism from San Jose State University. Monique Roy Monique Roy is a web design, Internet marketing and branding expert. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts from California Lutheran University, she joined the Corporate Communications department of Times Mirror, a Fortune 100 company at the time. Here she handled corporate branding, identity, press relations and coordinating special events such as The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, The Los Angeles Times Investment Strategies Conference, The Times Mirror Annual Shareholder's Meeting and other corporate events. Monique was also co-creator of the corporate Internet and intranet sites. After leaving Times Mirror, she defined the main and ancillary target markets for a new pest control company. In a market that barely existed before entering into it, she helped them increase sales from $465,000 to $4.2 million in three years. As a consultant for small businesses over the last 9 years, Monique has assisted other companies in stimulating huge growth, primarily through Internet marketing. Highlights include an Internet toy site she worked with whose sales increased from $125,000 to over $1 million in less than 18 months, and several other companies who grew from sole proprietorships to viable small businesses with her assistance. |
